The Palestine Legal Aid Fund was established last year to defend human rights on all angles of the Palestinian situation - from war crimes, to settlements, to third state responsibility. It is an unprecedented legal aid fund for the rights of Palestinians in need.

It is an international, non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organisation committed to social justice.

Our methods include:

• Litigation – providing expert legal advice, support and representation in cases and complaints to international human rights courts and mechanisms; promoting human rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent conventions and declarations.

• Fact-finding – conducting specialist investigations into allegations of human rights violations.

• Research – conducting research, enhancing cooperation between legal teams in international jurisdictions.
