Description:
REDS is fully aware that working with a big number of schools and organizations in the eco- schools project will not be feasible in the long term without a reliable volunteer network to support their work. In 2013, JREDS will develop the pilot phase of a volunteer system with a limited number of participants to be expanded during the following years.
The main tasks of the volunteers will be:
- Contact the eco-schools regularly
- Conduct field visits to the eco-schools
- Follow up the eco-school procedure implementation
- Assess the eco-schools’ performance based on the eco-school criteria
- Assist in training the new teachers and schools on the eco-schools program.
