About the organization
The Jordan Paramedic Society is a non-governmental, non-profit professional organization that is governed by a board of directors comprised of 10 representatives from all segments of the EMS community, as well as the public who are committed to public protection and quality patient care.
Founded in July 2012 as the Jordan Paramedic Association (JPA), the JPS is the national voice of emergency medical services (EMS) which supports EMS practitioners in providing high quality health care to patients. The JPA was transformed into the JPS in December 2012. The JPS has voluntary EMS professional members across Jordan.
Vision
JPS is dedicated to have Jordanian EMS professionals highly recognized and respected nationally, regionally, and internationally.
Mission
To serve as the National EMS Society in Jordan that ensures an international standardization of paramedic practice by providing a valid, uniform process to assess and retain the knowledge and skills required for competent practice by EMS professionals throughout their careers, and by maintaining a registry of certification status for 100% of Jordanian EMS professionals in seven years. JPS will also advocate the professional interest of the Jordanian EMS professionals.
